The MMRD. A place originally slated to be a train around the tree at Christmas but, crept into a little more than that. I'ts hard to believe its been as many years as it has since it started. Sometimes it wasn"t even fun but it was bearable. It still has a long way to go to be acceptable but one can run trains on it and that's the fun of it.

As I mentioned, it was to be a train around the Christmas tree but as time passed and I became more familliar with the hobby by reading books and going to Model Train Shows and visiting Model Train Clubs and layouts on the internet I occasionlly come up with some ideas for making the layout more interesting. I am planning to conduct Operating Sessions whereby one works rthe trains just like they do in real life. Operators will compete for a place on "The Totem Pole" but mostly just have fun running trains.

I finally acquired this Web Site now I have to learn how to manage it. To keep it up to date with Model Train Stuff.
